Description of the Training

This topic provides 14 images of how diarrhoea is transferred through fingers and outlines the importance of washing hands with soap before and after certain activities.

How to use Card set  5. ‘Diarrhoea Through Fingers’ 

ACTIVITY: BLOCKING THE ROUTE

  1. Ask the group to think of all the ways that we use our hands that could enable the transmission of faeces to our mouths.
  2. Hand put the Transmission picture cards and ask each participant to come to the front and explain their card.
  3. Now hand out the cards that show ways to ‘BLOCK THE ROUTE’ of transmission.
  4. Ask each participant to use their picture to block one of the transmission pictures. Stand behind the person the person with that picture.
