It is with great pleasure that we officially announce the appointment of Country Director in Zimbabwe as from January 2015. The founding Executive Director for Zim AHEAD, Dr. Juliet Waterkeyn who has been steering the Organisation from a distance for many years, is now CEO of Africa AHEAD, and is standing down in Zimbabwe.
At a AGM in January it has been confirmed that she hands over to Mr. Regis Matimati who has been assisting for the past four years as Acting Director since 2010. Mr Matimati has ably performed his task of building the profile and capacity of Zim AHEAD is already in place and therefore takes up his role as Country Director immediately as from January 2015.
