Mzimkhulu-Mvoti Water Management Area
September 9, 2008 – 2:35 pmLocated in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Province of South Africa, it is within this WMA that Africa AHEAD will work closely with the Umzimkhulu Local Municipality to implement CHCs in all 18 Wards of the municipality. In this area, Africa AHEAD will be directly involved in the implementation of the CHCs by identifying, training and mentoring community members from each of the targeted communities. Up until now, site visits have been conducting, a situational analyses has been completed, while the counselors have been mobilized and are currently in the process of identifying priority villages and submitting applications to participate in this pilot project.
